I’ve been compiling a list of home based business ideas for this website, there are a few gray areas but I’m attempting to stick with ideas where:
- a large part of the work can be carried out in your own home (such as taking calls, organizing appointments, writing quotes or reports, marketing and advertising your business etc)
- no special qualifications are required
- where the work can easily be done on a part time basis and
- where the start-up costs are low
For example, I don’t list the jobs suited to qualified plumbers and electricians etc but do list other activities where outside appointments are a part of the business. As this list is likely to grow I’m ‘promoting’ it to a page of its own rather than keeping it here with the regular posts.
