Teenager’s Home Worm Farm Business Shut Down!

According to InformationLiberation.com the Cromwell locality can be tough on enterprising work-at-home types. 13 year old Joe Cadieux is said to have received a ‘Cease and Desist’ order from the local planning and zoning commission because the sign on which he advertised his worms for sale, was in breach of local regulations!

Poor Joe is understandably peeved as he only made a few bucks a month selling worms to fishermen but unfortunately the sign advertising his home business has not received the approval home businesses are supposed to have. The laws are aimed at more up-scale businesses like home based doctors and the like but the way the authorities see it a home business is a home business.

The cost of appealing the decision is prohibitive for the pocket-money business so it looks like Joe will have to find some other way to advertise his service.
